Psychotropic and narcotic substances

This is how we designate substances that affect the central nervous system and mental processes in the organism. Among the best known are e.g. nicotine, alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, drugs obtained from cannabis and others. Thanks to their effects, which may include slowed perception, can bring about a feeling of euphoria or eliminate fear, there is a risk of addiction when they are consumed. In the initial – experimental phase of addiction, a person experiences unknown pleasant sensations, but if he loses control over the use of these substances and solves all problems by them, he limits his normal social life, becomes aggressive, very typical symptoms are also various health problems (chills, absolute exhaustion, depression…).
