Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague

Police Academy of the Czech Republic is a state school a university type. It is divided into the Faculty of Security Management and the Faculty of Security Law. It offers full-time or combined bachelor's (Bc.), master's (Mgr.) and doctoral study programs (Ph.D.). Not only police officers in a service relationship, but also employees of the Ministry of the Interior and other departments, whose units also carry out protection of law, can study at PA CR. The school is open also to civilian applicants.

The project of open encyclopedia "Tribes and Subcultures" is implemented within scientific research activities and development program of the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague for the years 2017-2023. Specifically, it is one of the outputs of the partial scientific task called "Socially risky groups and risky behaviour" (DVÚ 2/2).
