This term refers to the provision of sexual services for financial or other remuneration. Prostitution is thus a very quick way to get money. And that is probably also the most widespread reason why people (most often women) resort to it. In connection with this, however, they are exposed to many risks – the transmission of venereal diseases, addiction to addictive substances, physical violence, blackmailing. A large part of society perceives prostitution as a deplorable and immoral activity.
The folder in the Czech original contains an introduction of basic concepts and perhaps even slang or sociolect related to the given phenomenon, as well as working and study materials (articles, interviews, presentations,...) and other useful information (films and series, internet portals, books, professional workplaces and organizations, televisual and radio documentaries,...).
