Gambling

Gambling
or pathological gambling is one of many non-substance addictions. A gambler, as we call an addicted person-player, cannot resist gambling, slot machines or (online) betting. For him, all of this may at first mean relaxation and fun; if a person plays "once" and loses, of course it is not immediately gambling. Only people who begin to suffer from the idea that gambling is a quick and easy way to get rich and underestimate the risks, they become addicted (obsessed). Pathological gambling manifests itself in the loss of control over (not only one's own) finances, time or lack of the interest in one's surroundings and existing hobbies.
