Cosplay, in the Czech translation "costume play", refers to a lifestyle or a way of spending free time, which consists in dressing up in a costume and imitating a chosen character as faithfully as possible (film, book...; human, xenomorphic, animal...). But the "real" cosplay mainly involves making the costume themselves. Cosplayers, as we call the representatives of this lifestyle, experience a pleasant anonymity in their disguises, and it is not unusual for them even to lose certain inhibitions in social behaviour.
The folder in the Czech original contains an introduction of basic concepts and perhaps even slang or sociolect related to the given phenomenon, as well as working and study materials (articles, interviews, presentations,...) and other useful information (films and series, internet portals, books, professional workplaces and organizations, televisual and radio documentaries,...).
